I tried, I really did, this game is too dang dry. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of points but..... holy cr*p. I'm trying to imagine doing it for double that, and I'm still debating it in my head. lol

I don't think it's that. Its good if you crank up the old bagpipes and do a nordic dance first, and finish the quest on the toilet.

No but really, it was worth it. Kinda good game, I guess.

I'm surprised. It didn't take me longer than 20 minutes tops to get to level 10. Basically any building construction under 6 minutes you can boost for free and get it done instantly. Meaning you can crank out quests and upgrades quickly. I did this on all the buildings I placed, including the "Build 4 of [this] or [that]" quests.

Plus using the free "premium" boosts they give you for anything more than 6 minutes (I used them on the 30 and 60 minute constructions). Also, you can use points from your Hero to increase the innate speed of building construction, knowledge, and training permanently.

And I learned all that just in the 15 or so minutes I played the game. It's really not that hard. It'll be one of those set everything up and forget about it for the next day or so games once I reach the Level 2 and 3 quests on Gamekit.

At it again at the half hour mark, not even at the point of 30-60 minute buildings yet. You're superman. o.O

I finished forty five minutes doing it in between programming sessions on the john. It wasn't hard, keep it up and you'll get yourself a nice shiny steam card.

Yeah I'm in it to win it at this point.. Ended up at level 7 waiting on resources to upgrade palace. Evidently I didn't end up with as much premium stuffs/ used to many premium stuffs in the beginning on wrong stuff. I think my brain is melting, *breaks out bagpipes and does nordic dance*.

I made it to level 10 without any breaks, in probably 15-23 mins. I never had to wait on anything. Using your cooldown refreshers really helps, although i imagine on the later quests it requires a bit of waiting. This game is basically game of war but with vikings.

Of course you can do the first quest "within said time frames" if you use the free premium boosts you get for registering. When you are training troops/upgrading knowledge and/or upgrading buildings you'll see a red button called "boost". Press it and you'll see a list of all the free premium boost you have. I haven't used mine since I'm saving them for quest 3 so I can list them all here:

5x 10 minute boost
4x 5 minute boost
3x 3 minute boost
5x 1 minute boost
1x 3 hour boost
5x 60 minute boost
4x 15 minute boost

I can understand if you don't like the game, but please stop being so condescending and before calling people liars at least learn how the game works please.

Why would they prove it to you? Do you believe yourself a mod or something?
Seriously, people here have been really helpful and polite to you and instead of thanking them you began insulting and flaming them. I believe that your behavior is the very definition of what a troll is.

What I really liked is that you began asking for proof yet you completely ignored my post where I clearly enumerated all the premium boosts you get for free. Of course if I were to point out all the free gold you get which can also be used to immediately complete a task I'll get another insult from you I guess.

I can show you I was level 10 within ~2 hours of *making the account*, granted it didn't even take nearly that long to reach 10 once I started playing the game.

You always start the game with 2 days 23 hours on your peace boost (feel free to verify that by making a new account), that's the second (middle) of the 3 circles to the right in my SS. It's actually 3 days, but the countdown starts immediately from the 24 hours mark, making it 2 days 23 hours 59 minutes, hence the 2 days 23 hours displayed since it doesn't show minutes. On my SS it shows 2 days 22 hours (this could be any time within the hour since minutes are not displayed, i.e. 2 days 22 hours 35 minutes, etc.) left on my boost and my profile shows I'm level 10 already. There you go, level 10 in less than 2 hours. Wish I cared enough to show that it takes less time than that, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Again you conveniently ignored my post where I enumerated all the premium boosts you get for free. You asked for proof, I gave you that, and all I got where more insults. Well...if this were another forum then I would simply say you are just another bad troll trying to rile people up, but this is Gamekit and you just insulted a Gamekit staff member who just kindly and politely tried to help you so I seriously don't know what your intentions are, especially since the thing you are so fixated on is actually really pointless.

As the Gamekit moderator just pointed out, you can complete the first quest in just 15-23 mins with all the premium boosts and gold you get for free but that's not something I'd personally recommend since later quests are much more annoying since they require more waiting time. What I did was to simply save all the boosts and gold and just complete the first quest normally and it took me around two hours to do so. Thanks to that I could use the boosts to quickly finish the second quest. I've been getting gold in Loki's chest so hopefully that'll help making the third quest less bothersome. (And thank you to the one who suggested going to the oracle and just upgrading your knowledge tree, I had completely forgotten about the Invader's branch.)

This is going to be my last post in this topic since I don't want to feed the troll but I just want to say this to everybody who tried to help the above member: don't let a troll discourage you. People like you are what make this site an enjoyable one so don't let one troll ruin it for all of us. And thanks to the Gamekit staff members who constantly help us on a daily basis, you have far more patience than I could ever hope to attain.

Why would so many people here by lying to you about the time it takes to complete it? Is your self-esteem so low that you think the world is out to get you? That and entire forum of people just simultaneously decided to deceive you just for kicks? I used a total of two boosts to get to level 10 and that was just because I was impatient. I still managed to get to 10 in roughly 20 minutes.

I think you're playing this game wrong if you can't.

- You do know that when the arrows next to tasks turn purple that you can instantly complete them for free, right?
- That when, in the window for a particular building being constructed/upgraded, the button turns purple and says FREE, that you can click it and it will instantly complete the building, shaving 5-6 minutes off the time it would have normally taken.
- Are you completing the quests in the top left corner? Those give you free instant resources upon completion and you complete them just by building/upgrading/training/knowledge.
- Are you completing the Personal and Premium tasks? (Circle under the Quests, top left)
- Have you dropped down all the buildings you can in nearly every plot of land? If you haven't then you will not be producing enough resources to complete other quests. Upgrading them to 3/4/5 helps as well since they produce more resources. Again, if this is taking too long, then use the FREE boosts when the time falls before 6/7 minutes.

Honestly, you're mentally incapable (read: retarded) if you can't get to level 10 in an hour or less. No amount of juicy, salty tears is going to change that man. I'm sorry, really.

@Holly: Idk how You Won! was talking down to takeoff. All I see is a little humor and encouragement. The only person to get offended or think people here were being "snotty" when just trying to be helpful is takeoff. As far as I see, everybody here was giving tips and explaining that it shouldn't take too long to complete the first quest. It's just that takeoff took everything and everybody the wrong way and instead of seeing it as helpful and that maybe he was the minority, the only one having a problem, he instead took offense and thought everybody was trying to be better than him and lying. It's pretty funny actually.

Further, I admitted I was wrong. That didn't matter either. Just strengthens my point. Meanwhile you're telling yourself I'm "lying" for what? Attention? This was a normal conversation, I was reporting my experience as not valid, then all of the sudden I'm simply a troll because my experience wasn't the same as yours. Nah. I'm going to defend my own two eyes, not to mention I have a screenshot (I can provide on request) of people laughing about the idea of getting to level 10 in 20 minutes IN GAME. I even bring in someone that watched it with their own two eyes on screen share, validated that I was WRONG and STILL you continue your assault. Then you turn around and act as if it's unnatural that I insult you back. Yeah you're not a troll of the highest tier.....at all.

I finally got it all sorted, gotta say, not a bad game either. Seems after you do each blinking tutorial, if you go back to the page that starts the active quest, you will see a bunch of collection buttons for all of the blinking quests you've done. They will simply sit and stack, I didn't ever see these until Holly pointed them out to me. I'm thinking if anyone trips up anywhere, it'll be there.

For my two-penneth (ask your Grandad), Level 10 is achievable quite quickly, due to the number of boosts given out at the start (but remember to use them wisely). Level 15 (for quest 2) however, is quite taxing...

Well, I managed lvl 21 and the third quest comfortably within GK's time limit. It is a lot of grinding; I left it running in the background, while playing an interesting game. now I've got my points, adios Erics! (in the game - i'm still happy to give out advice on here)

13

iAmAllMight

19.04.2017, 20:47

You can try to argue semantics all you like, but the fact remains that no matter how hard you try to grind out to level 10 in 30 minutes it is not possible. Most of the aspects of the game aside from Knowledge and Quests give you practically no EXP. Don't try to bullshit the populace.

I finished the level 10 quest in a day because I grinded out tasks and building quests, but the level 15 is a lot harder. If you keep up with the grind, though, it works. I just got to 15 today after 4 days following my completion of the first quest.

Also, once you get enough boosts(you can get a lot from task completion and upgrading your palace) you can keep boosting oracle knowledge upgrades (for example, I got from halfway through level 14 to halfway through level 15 by upgrading the Cavalry Offense upgrade to level 3.

12

Justin

30.05.2017, 10:27

quests are 10,15,21 its more time consuming then anything but get a decent amount of boost for being active and being in a clan they and reduce the time it take to build your stuff

20

johnsmith1201221

03.08.2017, 12:15

The 3rd quest is level 15. If it makes you feel better I did quest 1 and 2 in under an hour and quest 3 in the next day. Sending your hero to kill a monster and wasting their energy before leveling up is ideal. One of the best ways i also got experience is upgrading your knowledge in the oracle building.

In short, its not hard. It is only difficult if you don't take advantage of every single factor the game offers. Using all your energy before leveling up, checking which upgrades grants the most experience, and spending the small ammount of gold on the right things rather than blowing it all at once. I don't believe in luck but I hope for the best for those still having trouble.

This game sucks, really. Do the missions, move on, if you dump money in something dump it into Space Engineers or something tangible. This is sort of the better version in a long series of garbage games.

20

johnsmith1201221

03.08.2017, 21:02

takeoff, it doesn't suck. Just hear me out but, this game isn't for you.

I can't call this a crappy game simply because its targeted fora VERY SPECIFIC audience. I myself don't really like the game either, but I can see much more older people playing this game since it isn't action based and you can take your leisurely time with it. Yes it is boring for the common gamer but for those who just want to slowly play a game and don't mind little to no action, its not too bad.

In short, yes, most people won't like this game. Heck some will even hate it AND for good reasons. But there are people out there older (and unlikely but even younger) people out there that would prefer a game such as this. It lets them become powerful with patience and time rather than skill and effort. Again, its not an ideal game for most people and me included, but that doesn't make it automatically bad (cause if it really was awful then it would have died out by now)

I just don't like how little experience you get in the game, im on the last quest and i need to get to level 15, only at 10 now, and have to wait 45 minutes to get 1,300 experience out of 70,000 just to get to level 11.

15

Ryokishine

09.04.2019, 23:51

I couldn't agree more. And yes, you're being trolled. It takes HOURS to get to level 10. Probably would have to be looking at this game for 4 hrs for 4-5 days in a row to get to level 10 on the castle. It's horrific.

The "gameplay" essentially consists of clicking a building, upgrade, and then "help" once you join a clan. Or a knowledge -> upgrade -> help button... Or train troops... Then you wait. And wait. And wait. Until finally ~6 mins rolls around and you can click the magic purple button that "saves you time" (this game is the biggest waste of time I've ever seen - what enjoyment is to be had from circlej*rking my base until it reaches level 10? I'm not so sure!). Most terrible game I've ever played. No story, no gameplay, just clickbait for cash. Terrible.

i know there are a lot of pretty colors on this one but its still the same cash hungry backstabber game. if you are not a cash player u are a cash player hunter. the devs constantly put u in a position to either pay them to catch up or plot plan and kill friends for their goodies. (as personal information is king) which would be fine if the game had something fun to do in the meanwhile. its a tower of babel with everyone working hard at something but nothing getting accomplished
