On the left side of the screen and find rankings. Click on that and it should display points.

I wish they would do a range of points for games like this, I wasn't able to get exactly 1000 because I jumped from 998 to 1003 with one action...

there is a little down pointing arrow on the left hand side of the screen it will drop down click on profile or rankings and it shows you the points

You dont need to be exact just not far off the required amount, if they ask for 1000 they will accept 1003 maybe even as high as 1050 but probably not much higher... leveling buildings that early in the game is only small points anyway, dont expect to submit 5000 for a 1000 quest and get it accepted, it doesnt work that way!
