Why is it indicating I failed quest 3?

I submitted a picture for quest 3 which was rejected, but I resubmitted another. It said the screenshot was being verified, but when I came back, quest 3 was marked failed and it had moved on to quest 4 without any notice? What happened?

Have you been rewarded the points? This might just be a bug as one other player so far has had this issue. You can check your point balance on the dropdown menu under your profile and see if you were actually rewarded the points.
