AION

Hello, I'm brand new to Aion, haven't even played yet. Just created a quick character to ask this question. :)

I came to the game to play with my friend, but she far prefers Elyos (because of the back hair.......) while I far prefer Asmodian. I understand we'd always be enemies in PvP and that's fine, but is there any way to play together, party together, chat together etc. aside from that? I searched around on this forum, Google etc. but haven't been able to turn up much about this.
